			<description><![CDATA[<span style="color: #FF0000;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Story</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">In this story, you can either play as one of two groups: Team Rocket, the classic antagonists of the Pokemon world that are running rampant around Kanto after the disappearance of Giovanni and a takeover by a mysterious, unknown man. Or you could play as the Kanto Police Force (KPF), who has just unleashed a bunch of rookies (that's you) into the region to deal with the Rocket problem.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: #FFA500;">Catching</span><br />
Depending on which side you're on, you have a different method of capturing Pokemon.<br />
<br />
Rocket:<br />
Rocket has new technology where the Poke Balls they use are full of dark energy, and if a Pokemon is successfully captured in one, the Pokemon becomes corrupted by darkness (Yes, this is based off Pokemon 4Ever. I liked that movie, shut up). There are some cases where corrupted Pokemon escape and try to act on their own accord. If spotted in the wild, these Pokemon can be difficult to catch, as they are more than willing to attack people. There are no methods known so far to reverse these effects, besides handling the Pokemon with caution and keeping a shock collar on it to prevent to from getting out of line.<br />
<br />
KPF:<br />
The police force of Kanto tries its best to make sure problems with Pokemon are dealt with without harming innocent civilians or the area. Thus, Kanto took a page from the notes of the Safari Zone and developed a kit used to deal with dangerous Pokemon without too much force. The kit includes:<ul>
<li>Master brand Pokemon Bait, Pokeballs, Rocks<br />
</li></ul>
These items above can help in many situations: Pokeblocks can calm down a Pokemon potentially or distract it (some cases are just wild Pokemon running around in search of food), or more violent means can be used to damage the Pokemon from afar. And Pokeballs are for obvious reasons: Poker Chips.<br />
<br />
You will be given missions by the leader of whatever side you're on. You start out as low rank, but can improve by having multiple successful missions. As a low rank, you start out with very low-scale work.<br />
<br />
Form:<br />
Name:<br />
Age:<br />
Affiliation/side:<br />
First Pokemon (this can be any of the starter Pokemon for any of the regions or any of the more common Pokemon around any of the regions (like Zubat, Zigzagoon, those darn Ratatas, Pidgeys, Wurples, etc.)[/color]<br />

<br />
<span style="color: yellow;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Admiral</span></span><br />
The admiral is the highest rank in the game. Your job is to not lose any battles. However, you do not battle anybody until your entire army is killed.<br />
<br />
The admiral has very powerful Pokemon to protect him.<br />
<br />
If the army wins and there is no vice to take the admiral's place, the highest-winning army guy becomes admiral FOR NOW. (other options include him staying admiral, or a new admiral being chosen randomly). If a terrorist kills the admiral, that terrorist takes his place.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: orange;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Vice Admiral</span></span><br />
The vice admiral's job is to take the admiral's place in case he dies. The vice can use the same Pokemon as the admiral. The vice also helps in stopping terrorists from upgrading.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: green;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Army</span></span><br />
the army's duty is to protect the admiral from the evil terrorists who want him dead. You battle the terrorists as part of the game. Whoever wins is eliminated from the game. The army get more powerful Pokemon than the terrorists, but the amount of army soldiers is always set to about half of the terrorist amount.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Terrorists</span></span><br />
The terrorists' job is to kill the army, vice admiral and the admiral. Because there are more terrorists than army soldiers, the power between each team balances out.</span><br />
</div>
</div></div></div>
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="color: green;">How to Play</span></span><br />
<br />
<div style="padding: 3px; background-color: #303070; color: #FFF; border: 1px solid #d8d8d8; font-size: 1em;"><div style="text-transform: uppercase; border-bottom: 1px solid #CCCCCC; margin-bottom: 3px; font-size: 0.8em; font-weight: bold; display: block;"><span onClick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') {  this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = ''; this.innerHTML = '<b>Spoiler: </b><a href=\'#\' onClick=\'return false;\'>hide</a>'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerHTML = '<b>Spoiler: </b><a href=\'#\' onClick=\'return false;\'>show</a>'; }" /><b>Spoiler: </b><a href="#" onClick="return false;">show</a></span></div><div class="quotecontent"><div style="display: none;">Terminology<br />
-----------<br />
A <span style="font-weight: bold;">day</span> consists of the terrorist group chosing one terrorist for as many remaining soldiers as possible to battle, and ends when all those battles have been carried out. Vice Admiral attacks will be carried out before the day ends.<br />
<br />
A <span style="font-weight: bold;">round</span> begins when :<br />
<br />
a) all players are assigned a role.<br />
b) The vice takes the admiral's spot as admiral.<br />
<br />
If b is the situation, all army and terrorists are revived and new matchups are made.<br />
<br />
It ends when:<br />
<br />
a) The admiral dies (regardless if there is a vice or not)<br />
b) All the terrorists die<br />
<br />
Once everybody is assigned a role, each person makes a Pokemon team with the pokemon that are allowed in their class. Teams can only be changed once per in-game day. After the terrorists choose which army will battle which terrorists, both teams battle each other 1v1. you can think of it as a round in a battle tournament. This continues until one side loses all of their members. Each phase of army vs terrorist standoff is considered 1 day.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: green;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Upgrading</span></span><br />
When a terrorist kills an army soldier, he has the opportunity to prepare for an upgrade. The upgrade will allow the terrorist to use the Pokemon the army uses.<br />
<br />
Before the second round of army vs terrorists, the vice can choose an upgrade-preparing terrorist to battle. If the vice loses, he dies immediately and the terrorist can proceed. If the vice wins, the terrorist dies.<br />
<br />
After the next round of army vs terrorists, if an upgrading terrorist is still alive and beats that second army soldier, he successfully upgrades. At the end of the day, he can change his team to an army-based one.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">THIS GAMEPLAN IS NOT FINAL.</span> During the course of the game, these rules may change.<br />

Points system:<br />
<br />
This game has a points system. When the Murderer wins, he/she gets 15 points. If there was an accomplise (won't have the possibility in this game until this server gets a lot more popular), they would split the points 2:1, so the Murderer would get 10, the Accomplise 5. When the people win, they split 20 points, the winner getting 5 additional points.<br />

<span style="color: red;">Game Intro:</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: lightblue;">"Ladies and gentlemen. It is time for the main event! The best of the best from around the world has come to compete for the IX World Heavyweight championship belt. There is one competitor who is a Sigma World Champion, and is going to be eliminating others quickly. So it is advised to find out who he is and get him eliminated as fast as possible. All competitors are advised to trust only themselves, and to not rely on the help of others. Through out the franchise, players might be assorted into teams, and factions for a day. Try your best, but try not to rely on your teammates that closely. Keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. The winner of the match will not only be the new World Champion, they will also be enshrined in the PR Hall of Fame! So to everyone enlisted, good luck. You are going to need it."</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: orange;">Rules: This game is very simple. Amoung the 7 of you, there is one person who will kill all of you until they/you win. You have to use other's actions and murderer notes to find this person. To vote, bold your vote like this! (Replace * with brackets) <span style="font-weight: bold;">Each pokemon (based on what it is,) will have a certain advantage that can be used ONCE throughout the entire murder, being it double votes, or a minus vote.</span><br />
<br />
*b* Vote: Noobsicle */b*<br />
<br />
To unvote, do the same as above, except make it *b* Unvote: Prosicle */b* You do not have to vote again right away.<br />
<br />
A game day lasts 3 real days, a game night lasts 2 real days.<br />
<br />
Daytime: You are allowed to vote, talk, all sorts of stuff!<br />
<br />
Nightime: No posting and at night, the murderer chooses someone to kill off. This must be PM'd. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Don't talk to others about this game at all! 2 warnings is all you get before a modkill.</span> <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">For this game there will be 7 (or more) players, each with three pokemon each. Each pokemon has to either be a fighting type, or bipedal in someway. If you are questioning about a pokemon post it and I will clarify if you can use it or not. </span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Profile Stalking: If you don't want people stalking your profile, >User CP > Edit Options > Check Hide Me From Who's Online</span>.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">Whoever has the highest points in the point standings at the end of the game may host the next Murder.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: gray;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Color Commentators (Council of Ghosts)</span></span><br />
<br />
The Commentating staff allow everyone to be able to play, even after a Pokemon dies. Every day, after Night 1, everyone will be able to do voting for a commentator, done through italics. At night, the voted out player may give a vague hint about who you think the Murderer is. If you are all out of Pokemon, you will be told who the Murderer is so you could give more accurate hints. However, you <span style="font-weight: bold;">cannot</span> tell anyone who that Murderer is. Every ghost needs one day to recharge, so you cannot vote the same person over and over again.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: gold;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Day Themes!</span></span><br />
<br />
Day Themes are a brand new concept (introduced in Murder VII - The Joey Adventures)meant to change up gameplay. There are 7 total themes that can be used, question is what they are. I know them, but you need to figure it out. Anyway, they are there to change the gameplay like I said. They can involve changing voting patterns, team relationships, so on and so forth. Remember, these were brought here before the PB version, so enjoy the inviduality!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: silver;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Additional Notes</span></span><br />
<br />
If you are the Murderer, <span style="font-weight: bold;">always</span> give a note along with who you would like to kill. If you do not do this, <span style="font-weight: bold;">the host of the current Murder can either choose a random Pokemon to kill, including the Murderer Pokemon</span>, or if this happens at least 3 times, the game mod can choose <span style="font-weight: bold;">whoever</span> he wants to kill. This may or may not include the Murderer however.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;">If your pokemon is voted on, there is a chance your pokemon can get out. It is not whoever has the most votes gets out immediately rather that the pokemon has the most chances of getting out.</span></span><br />

<br />
edit: it came with uncharted and he's only using it for blu-ray movies, which i guess means every ps3 game ever???<br />
<br />
Pretty sure my other brother is planning on getting a PS Vita now, for whatever reason.<br />
<br />
I'm planning on getting the PS3 Portal 2 and <span style="font-style: italic;">maybe</span> Sonic '06. Also most likely a used copy of The Last Of Us, since that's pretty much the only PS3-exclusive game I want to play at the moment, and it's &#36;60 new, so yeah.<br />
<br />
Of course, come May 9, none of that will matter, since Xbox 360 Minecraft, but until then I'd like to at least break my brother's PS3 controller.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[<span style="color: red;">This thread will be for Top 10 songs in America (according to Billboard). Here, you may comment on the songs and/or my commentary. With each song, you'll find links to the video (if available) and lyrics along with the cover art. You'll also be able to see how long it's been in the Top 10, the song's peak in the charts, and where it was last week. Here we go!<br />

This song is basically cutesy-cutesy with a catchy melody with nothing else really behind it. "Call Me Maybe" is basically about a girl who has a "love at first sight" moment and tries to get te dude to maybe call him. The music video will offer a little more insight... I'll let you watch it for you to understand it. <img src="images/smilies/biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align: middle;" border="0" alt="Big Grin" title="Big Grin" /> I predict this song will hit 5th or so before falling down... if it's lucky.</span><br />

Katy Perry scored yet another #1 hit with this song, but it's starting to wear off and fall off of the Top 10. However, 3 weeks back, it did randomly receive a bump-up from 10 to 8, showing fans still care for the song. Anyway, "Part Of Me" is about a girl finding out the dude was cheating on her, the girl becoming strong and independent in the process. This is better portrayed in the music video, where Katy joins the Marines. All in all, great song in my opinion and definitely worth a listen.</span><br />

This song is following sister "Set Fire To The Rain" out the door after it's departure out of the Top 10 on the account of getting old. It also ties into my metaphor of the jewelled crown for this week with 3 marvelous results. This would be a little emerald on the side. When it first came into the Top 10, the stronger meaning of bouncing back hard and swinging was enough to get anyone in a fighting mood. However, it now looms as an overplayed song that anyone who has the radio on for about an hour a day can recite from memory. We get it Kelly, someone hurt you and you wanna fight back. Is it really worth telling us for an entire season though? Depends on who you ask.</span><br />

What do you get when you mix an Australian signer with the genius behind "Good Feeling"? Strangey enough, an ever-so-slightly botched song that would be around #2 by now if it had a few tweaks. First off, the melody is a bit too slow. You know it's bad when there's a rapping part in a song and the whitest of white people, aka me, can actually go with it. Also, Sia isn't too bad, but "Ooh ooh ooh" kinda sounds like a constipated dog or a cat singing along to the old General Hospital theme like my old dog used to do. (RIP Bear...) All in all, don't expect it to pass #4.</span><br />

Oh Nicki Minaj... When aren't you "higher than a mother f*cker"? All kidding aside, I originally went "oh great, another Nicki Minaj song... whoohoo" like an old man that didn't care, but I immediately fell in love with the melody of the song. After all, it does have a slight spacey tang to Miami. And the chorus is executed perfectly in my opinion. The song can be seen as a "keep at it" song, but in the end, who cares? You'll be too busy putting the song on repeat and singing along to the chorus. It's too bad this song was released during the same timage as "Set Fire To The Rain", "We Are Young", and "Stronger" as this song could have been #1 without these 3 tough songs easily.</span><br />

If the changes for this week were a jewelled crown, then this would have to be the gleaming ruby that sparkles in the crown. I am SO GLAD that Billboard woke up, decided the song sucked, and is tearing it apart right now. Good job Billboard, good job YouTube trolls and regular people commenting on the official video, and good job to whoever kept their sanity after listening to this atrocity that we call music.</span><br />

I told you guys this wouldn't sit at #9 for long! After a successful iCarly episode soon followed by the their SNL performance and brief appearance in the Manuel Ortiz sketch, the 5 boys mashed together from the X Factor proved to be a fighting force in the music biz... at least for now. I'm going to go as far as this song hitting #1 in a week or two with the massive "Directioner" fanbase.</span><br />

Another song by yet another British boyband that actually looks like a mix of Latino and flat-out white boy sits at #3 this week. I'm not really sure how it got this high though. Besides the chorus and melody, I found nothing to be... pleasant. When I think of the verses, I can only imagine repetition and a slightly creepy, demanding voice. Sorry boys, you wore your welcome out fast.</span><br />

Can't really say much because a) I refuse to watch the video and b) this song has creeper written all over it! I've only seen the music video chorus and I'm just trying to figure why we Americans put this on top of the <span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">ROCK</span></span> charts, let alone why we even listen to stuff like this.</span><br />

fun. keeps at it for a 6th week straight, ending the triple crown of win I'm giving the changes this week as a sparkling sapphire. "We Are Young" reigns for the 6th straight week at the Top of the charts for a very good reason: it's new and fresh. Not once before have I ever heard a song with such depth and storytelling that it changes my view on music a bit. The song is about trying to win a girl back, but in the end, he just wants to start it all over with the girl by "setting the world on fire" to "burn it (their relationship) brighter than the sun". The artists are practically new on the charts, so both groups should pat themselves on the back and hug it out with a song as amazing as this. I'll find "We Are Young" in my head constantly, proving it can stick around for a while without people getting sick of it.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: red;">Well, that's all for now! Come back next week for updates, which I will do constantly.</span>]]></description>

<br />
<span style="color: red;">Well, that's all for now! Come back next week for updates, which I will do constantly.</span>]]></content:encoded>

			<description><![CDATA[Ok, first off, you should probably know that this is a terrorist team. But for the most part, you can call it a BW UU team. After looking at the army tier for a while, I made a list of the pokemon who were most powerful and likely to be used (along with also considering what I have actually battled), and also singled out which pokemon could learn Stealth Rock (therefore pokemon I would very likely encounter). This team aims to take down the most commonly-used army pokemon, and also as a mainly hyper-offensive team.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://themetapicture.com/media/funny-Magneton-Pokemon-real-life.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: funny-Magneton-Pokemon-real-life.jpg]" /><br />
Magneton @ Eviolite<br />
Trait: Magnet Pull<br />
EVs: 100 HP / 252 SAtk / 156 SDef<br />
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)<br />
- Magic Coat<br />
- Thunder Wave<br />
- Thunderbolt<br />
- Hidden Power [Fighting]<br />
<br />
This is the first pokemon in the team that I decided to use. My reasons include being able to screw over Ambipom (brick break 2HKOs with eviolite), being able to take on abomasnow one-on-one, being able to reflect back stealth rock and spikes for any Pokemon, and making a joke out of smeargle by using magic coat on Spore. Yanmega leads are also a joke and get owned by Thunderbolt, as long as they don't get lucky with hypnosis. Basically, I chose magneton because it's a great counter to most leads that I tend to find in the army tier. We terrorists don't get many good stealth rockers, and the ones we do are easily countered by a handful of Pokemon. So instead of using one of these obvious pokemon, I am choosing to substitute it with Magic Coating the foe's stealth rock to get mine up. It sounds like a noobish idea, but I do have backup for this, which you'll see later on.<br />
<br />
The HP and SpD EVs ensure that magneton is never OHKOed by a lead Victini's fire blast, allowing magneton to paralyze it with T wave and then run away giggling like a schoolgirl into its pokeball. Also, a Life Orb azelf's Fire Blast will never OHKO, either. there are a lot of mind games that come up when the foe sends out azelf as a lead. But if I end up losing (using magic coat on a predicted stealth rock, and the foe uses Fire Blast), at least I won't lose magneton right then and there.<br />
<br />
There is also a chance that alakazam's life orb Focus Blast doesn't OHKO, either (although this heavily decreases with stealth rock damage), and when combined with Focus blast's already 70% accuracy, this gives magneton a fairly good chance to neuter alakazam with Thunder Wave.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://www.ceder.net/pc/character/gligar.png" border="0" alt="[Image: gligar.png]" /><br />
Gligar (F) @ Eviolite<br />
Trait: Hyper Cutter<br />
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd<br />
Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk)<br />
- Roost<br />
- Stealth Rock<br />
- Swords Dance<br />
- Earthquake<br />
<br />
If magneton fails to get stealth rock up, Gligar can do it. What's even better is that gligar can work pretty well alongside magneton, easily switching into any Fighting-type attack out there. It doesnt take STAB fire attacks too well, but I have other pokemon for that.<br />
<br />
I'm not sure about these EVs, really. I want gligar to be a little more specially defensive, but it needs all the Speed it can get, and against UU, it needs all the Atk it can get if earthquake is going to do anything. I was thinking an all-out utility gligar, but I think there are better options for that. Gligar's typing is really what won me over as the main stealth rocker. I'm open for replacements here.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://img.pokemondb.net/artwork/suicune.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: suicune.jpg]" /><br />
Suicune @ Leftovers<br />
Trait: Pressure<br />
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef<br />
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)<br />
- Rest<br />
- Sleep Talk<br />
- Calm Mind<br />
- Surf<br />
<br />
Suicune is a muuuuch better ally for Magneton. unfortunately it doesnt get Stealth rock. but what it can do is abuse the reflected stealth rock / spikes very well. Suicune also stops Darmanitan, sometimes Victini, and flygon from doing major damage to my team. There are very few Water Absorb pokemon used in the army tier, and with the abscence of drizzle, Ludicolo isn't seen nearly as much, which makes surf as suicune's only attacking move a little safer. Even if something like milotic came in, suicune can easily beat it one-on-one by spamming Calm Mind and then using surf. Suicune also likes switching into ice attacks that Gligar really doesn't like, and gligar and magneton can both switch into electric attacks aimed at Suicune.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://fc01.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2010/284/2/2/heat_rotom_by_battlemaster00-d30kus7.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: heat_rotom_by_battlemaster00-d30kus7.jpg]" /><br />
Rotom-H @ Choice Scarf<br />
Trait: Levitate<br />
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd<br />
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)<br />
- Thunder Wave<br />
- Trick<br />
- Volt Switch<br />
- Shadow Ball<br />
<br />
I needed something to stop Snorlax from ruining everything, and to make Hippowdon wish it never tried to used earthquake on Magneton and then stay in to use toxic. TrickChoice also completely shuts down wobbuffet and to an extent Zapdos, the latter who can give this team trouble if cradily isn't around. Porygon2 can also be a problem, which the TrickChoice also takes care of. If none of these pokemon are around, rotom makes a very nice bait-and-switch pokemon for Gligar to get a chance to set Stealth Rock up, and can easily take down a mixed sweeper Azelf if it still has its Choice Scarf and uses Shadow Ball. I chose rotom for this role in particular because of its typing - it offers Magneton a switchout from ground and fire attacks, gives Suicune a break from grass and electric attacks, and can even take Ice attacks for Gligar.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQje7qzzI49SxQd8PoaZiDBiJRAYCt2IYm34bKuiVblfvhpPmlY62cVbknc" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQje7qzzI49SxQd8PoaZiD...lY62cVbknc]" /><br />
Cradily (F) @ Leftovers<br />
Trait: Storm Drain<br />
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Atk / 200 SDef<br />
Careful Nature (+SDef, -SAtk)<br />
- Rest<br />
- Curse<br />
- Earthquake<br />
- Rock Slide<br />
<br />
This pokemon can be a real pain in generation 3, and it's not much easier in generation 5 if it is used correctly. In addition, snorlax gives this team a lot of trouble. This cradily set has a lot of fun with snorlax, and also takes down Zapdos, another pokemon that can cause issues for this team. After a few curses, very little can take this set down. Cradily's storm drain allows it to switch into Water attacks aimed at Rotom, stops Flygon from spamming Earthquake and Stone edge against my team, and is my main special sponge to stop Chandelure, alakazam, Raikou and Houndoom. With Rest, toxic cannot even hope to stop it, although it does make Cradily immoble for 2 turns with no sleep talk / natural cure to help it. I really like this set, but I'm not sure it belongs on this team....<br />
<br />
<img src="http://www.deviantart.com/download/120786504/Azelf_Artwork_by_Xous54.png" border="0" alt="[Image: Azelf_Artwork_by_Xous54.png]" /><br />
Azelf @ Life Orb<br />
Trait: Levitate<br />
EVs: 48 Atk / 208 SAtk / 252 Spd<br />
Naive Nature (+Spd, -SDef)<br />
- Psychic<br />
- Hidden Power [Fighting]<br />
- Ice Punch<br />
- Explosion<br />
<br />
This is my main last-ditch effort to pull off a sweep in case cradily and suicune get critted, and Gligar gets owned somehow. Azelf is fast, learns many, many moves, requires no set-up, and with the listed moves, can hit everything in the Army tier for at least neutral damage. If cradily is gone, explosion can take Snorlax down if it has taken previous damage. I chose hidden power Fighting because many army tier Pokemon are weak to fighting. I'm open to a new teammate here, in particular a good fighting-type Pokemon who can synergize with my team better. But unfortunately there are no good mixed fighting sweepers in the terrorist tier that are nearly as fast as Azelf...]]></description>

-----------<br />
A <span style="font-weight: bold;">day</span> consists of the terrorist group chosing one terrorist for as many remaining soldiers as possible to battle, and ends when all those battles have been carried out. Vice Admiral attacks will be carried out before the day ends.<br />
<br />
A <span style="font-weight: bold;">round</span> begins when :<br />
<br />
a) all players are assigned a role.<br />
b) The vice takes the admiral's spot as admiral.<br />
<br />
If b is the situation, all army and terrorists are revived and new matchups are made.<br />
<br />
It ends when:<br />
<br />
a) The admiral dies (regardless if there is a vice or not)<br />
b) All the terrorists die<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: green;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Upgrading</span></span><br />
When a terrorist kills an army soldier, he has the opportunity to prepare for an upgrade. The upgrade will allow the terrorist to use the Pokemon the army uses.<br />
<br />
Before the second round of army vs terrorists, the vice can choose an upgrade-preparing terrorist to battle. If the vice loses, he dies immediately and the terrorist can proceed. If the vice wins, the terrorist dies.<br />
<br />
After the next round of army vs terrorists, if an upgrading terrorist is still alive and beats that second army soldier, he successfully upgrades. At the end of the day, he can change his team to an army-based one.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: green;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Recording Battles</span></span><br />
<br />
like any Pokemon war game, we need proof that you beat the opponent. The 2 easiest options to get proof is to upload a PO replay file to a post on this topic or to simply post the log. <span style="font-weight: bold;">EVERY battle must be recorded for proof of battle victories!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="color: green;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Telescope</span></span><br />
<br />
One army soldier and one terrorist will get a telescope. Each day, the person with the telescope can see one opponent's team. The person being telescoped must not have a battle scheduled, however. It is important to keep the telescoper private because the terrorists may choose him to battle - if he loses, the telescope is given to the winner of the other team.<br />
<br />

<br />
Character Options:<br />

Mario can jump fairly high, swing his hammer with great force and use a variety of power-ups to aid him in battle. While he’s not the fastest character he can run pretty far.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn2.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQrN03sWtmK3W67-0KTzIWdd6hH9Lzb1d7XGRJ9UMETZzyj01-irF-rtlJX" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQrN03sWtmK3W67-0KTzIW...-irF-rtlJX]" />Luigi: Mario’s brother is also balanced. Although he can jump higher and run faster than Mario, he’s still not the fastest. He’s also weaker than his brother due to him being a bit of a coward. <br />
<br />

His sword is great for close combat and his bow, bombs and boomerang make him a great projectile user. The double clawshot and whip can draw enemies closer to him so he can strike with his sword.<br />
<br />

On the ground however he uses a blaster and a reflector for ranged combat and a flaming tackle and a fast dash for melee attacks. He’s very quick on his feet making him one of the faster characters.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTrDqZwi8JRs6YOQupdVirwZ6i2TT_TMl2HN2BH7jlFbWKoLFs_" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTrDqZwi8JRs6YOQupdVir...lFbWKoLFs_]" />Falco Lombardi: Fox’s right hand pilot and closest friend. Falco is similar to Fox except he’s a little slower. Thankfully this doesn’t hinder his fighting abilities. Most of his moves are similar to Fox’s however so there isn’t much difference.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSTl7s0DcBcU6Doe-pIM-pJ58QtyFMeFVq9Pc6bDl806Upco5QqAZKFqEo" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSTl7s0DcBcU6Doe-pIM-p...5QqAZKFqEo]" />Ness: A boy from the town of Onett with psychic powers. Ness can do all sorts of things with his abilities. Teleport, shoot fire, summon bolts of lighting, freeze enemies, heal his allies and summon meteors. Ness is slow but his very powerful and defensive. <br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTMvGPBCVHXrOtIqNIncZZhp6AG5Ffcqi_IHT3i1cqU5V-0BQ0xKA" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTMvGPBCVHXrOtIqNIncZZ...5V-0BQ0xKA]" />Lucas: Possessing the same abilities as Ness, Lucas can be quite a power house on his own as well. He’s slightly faster than Ness but not as powerful. While Ness’s signature move PSI Rockin is strong, Lucas’s PSI Love can pack quite a punch as well.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRFW4XHysrEar1BMk7Yw19S3MjaN6am0OfDwdWnodcvOKF4K78QS2Q-aF0Kdg" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRFW4XHysrEar1BMk7Yw19...S2Q-aF0Kdg]" />Kirby: Kirby has the unique ability to swallow his enemies and copy their abilities if they have one. Kirby can jump the highest out of all the characters being that he can float. Kirby’s wide variety of Copy Abilities makes him great for both melee and ranged combat.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110616132136/kidicarus/images/7/7c/250px-Pit_Uprising.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 250px-Pit_Uprising.png]" />Pit: An angel of the goddess Palutena, as well as captain of her royal guard, Pit can use a wide variety of weapons ranging from claws and blades to bows and cannons. This makes Pit great for both ranged and close combat. Despite being an angel he can’t fly on his own and has to rely on Palutena to help him fly. He’s still a great jumper regardless of this minor setback. Depending on what weapon he uses, his speed varies making either one of the fastest or slowest characters depending on the weapon he’s holding at that time.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQpRWtCtcuJGiYrw1MzVTgVlo_I9FvtEI5_WsUAX8B31ahCeNv0rXLw-fIayw" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQpRWtCtcuJGiYrw1MzVTg...rXLw-fIayw]" />Donkey Kong: An ape from Donkey Kong Island. The only reason he fight’s King K. Rool is because he steals his banana’s. He’s better as a melee fighter but his coconut gun can help him take out enemies from long distances.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT05ciZfp6t46LJ2B8U-OaQceeVrA9xD0dA5VsFhllugWhNgvzWIQ" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT05ciZfp6t46LJ2B8U-Oa...gWhNgvzWIQ]" />Diddy Kong: The more agile of the two, Diddy Kong can strike foes fast, but not as hard as Donkey Kong. His peanut popguns can defeat enemies from long range as well. He can use a barrel jetpack to get around easier and can trip up opponents with banana peels.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRHHu7R2ZkKmeBERlSz8xPhp-DC-oKt8T__k3eNxCrqHtqNN3HhNQ" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRHHu7R2ZkKmeBERlSz8xP...HtqNN3HhNQ]" />Samus Aran: An intergalactic bounty hunter with Chozo DNA. Samus is not only powerful, but agile and fast when she needs to be. Her power suit is equipped with an arm cannon, missiles, bombs and a grapple beam. She can turn into a ball for faster movement and she can use her bombs to help her jump in this state.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTxFH2eg2Fr6QsK4BAMvKqOIzKcUhiexxmO4ePr6DxPpG67DKNDG2Gg9o6M" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTxFH2eg2Fr6QsK4BAMvKq...NDG2Gg9o6M]" /> <img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSh7WF2hqB87947siKAOnhFrnsvXoHIk0GhBRgm4XrfPzdH5TfD0sI3Gbrm" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSh7WF2hqB87947siKAOnh...fD0sI3Gbrm]" />Mega Man/Mega Man X: Mega Man and X are strikingly similar in appearance. The main difference between the two is that X is taller than his past self. Both of them have the unique ability to copy the powers of their enemies like Kirby. They can also keep those powers and use them whenever they feel like. X is stronger and faster than the original but Mega Man has one thing X doesn’t. Mega Man has his trusty companions Rush and Beat to help him out when he needs it. Although X can dash and wall jump which gives him a slight edge over Mega Man. <br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ5EKh3_EAAr8aJbz-T6lyW4WsNxjmBc2-C0Ard5fqy4dYqZtRfyi737vQ" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQ5EKh3_EAAr8aJbz-T6ly...tRfyi737vQ]" />Proto Man: Mega Man’s brother and the first humanoid robot to be made by Dr. Thomas Light. Proto Man sports the Proto Buster which can be shot as it is or charged for a more powerful attack like Mega Man’s Mega Buster. Although Proto Man also sports the Proto Shield which can block any projectile based attacks possibly reflecting them back at enemies. Proto Man can also copy the powers of his enemies.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn3.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQB8FjXEkBVoB51IiC0IMZ38zvkXzmNhQ7AFPOxg2csWhgLDSYIvg" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQB8FjXEkBVoB51IiC0IMZ...WhgLDSYIvg]" />Zero: X’s friend and a Maverick Hunter. Zero was originally created by Dr. Albert Wily to help him take over the world and defeat Mega Man and Bass, another creation of Wily’s. Wily called Zero his greatest masterpiece. Zero however was extremely aggressive and because of this Wily sealed him in a capsule. He was released later during the twenty-second century. Zero has the same abilities as the other robots and sports the Z-Saber making him great for melee and ranged attacks.<br />
<br />
<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQEx0c3MjazjA2146lvNbT8ISiZaSmvXCxNryVNLSDM47DztbIt1uBXnA4IBw" border="0" alt="[Image: images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQEx0c3MjazjA2146lvNbT...1uBXnA4IBw]" />Sonic the Hedgehog: Known as the ‘Blue Blur’ and ‘The Fastest Thing Alive’ it certainly shows. Sonic’s speed is outmatched by no one making him the fastest character. Sonic is also a decent character in terms of physical strength. While Sonic is fast on his own he becomes even faster if he absorbs the power of the seven Chaos Emeralds. These gems turn him into Super Sonic who moves at blinding speeds, is extremely powerful and invincible. If Sonic ever died the Chaos Emeralds would be the best thing to look for since they can and will revive Sonic and allow him to go super. <br />

<span style="color: #FF0000;">~Introduction~</span><br />
<br />
So, five monthes away from Nationals (and another three monthes until the April Regionals) and I still didn't have a clue in the world what I was going to do for a team. After gaining some help from DeagleBeagle and painstaking hours of testing, I was finally able to come up with this team. Without further adieu, I present Team [RECLUDED].<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">~At A Glance~</span><br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><br />
<br />
This team was originally going to be built around Scizor, but after thinking it over, Metagross outclasses Scizor in most ways. So, I decided to build it around Metagross instead.<br />

Chandelure, Zapdos, and Garchomp like to make Metagross' life hard. Swampert manages to counter them, while having Metagross resist the bane of Swampert's life (i.e. Grass).<br />
<br />

<br />
I wanted to leave this team with the option of running Trick Room. Since Metagross doesn't exactally counter any of Swampert's threats, that's where Chandelure comes in. Chandelure has threats of its own, however, the other two members mentioned so far are capable of handling them.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><br />
<br />
Scrafty makes a great lead alongside Chandelure if I happen to be attempting a Trick Room setup (or even when I'm not), as well as another counter towards Chandelure's threats, not to mention handling opposing Chandleures, Cresselias, and T-tars well.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/373.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 373.png]" /><br />
<br />
I needed something that could revenge kill with quite the punch. SpecsMence does the job just fine, while giving Intimidate support, which allows the other pokemon listed above to last a little longer (i.e. Scrafty being able to survive Acrobatics+Flying gem and Chandelure being able to last through a Crunch from T-tar longer). <br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/373.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 373.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/488.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 488.png]" /><br />
<br />
If you notice, the majority of the pokemon listed bafore Cresselia enjoy having this lunar pokemon's support (Metagross and Scrafty in peticular). Cresselia ops as my alternative if I feel that Trick Room is a bad idea.<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Metagross?</span></span><br />
<br />
With IntimiTops running around this year, I needed to have something that could laugh at both it and its ever-so-bothersome Ability, Intimidate. If the opponent is planning to set up Trick Room, they better think twice about that with Metagross on the field, as it will have the Speed of 67 (at Lv.50 that is), "outspeeding" even T-tar under Trick Room.<br />
  <br />
Now, how does Metagross benefit the team as a whole? For starters, a Cresselia/Metagross lead seems to be a lead people fequently use, and for good reason. With Metagross' low speed, it appreciates having both Ice Wind and T-Wave support. If an enemy Latios is weakend enough, a Helping Hand-boosted Bullet Punch will knok the jet plane out of the sky, which will be a sigh of relief for Salamence. <del>Helping Hand-boosted Iron Head? T-tar, Weavile, Terrakion, and Abomasnow all frown upon such thoughts.</del> Going back to the topic of Latios, Metagross makes a great partner for Salamence, as it will survive Draco Meteor frome that thing with ease, Dragon Gem or Life Orb buffed. Also, I can lure the opponent into using a Fire-type move and then switch into Chandelure for the Falsh Fire bonus.[/b]<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
I said earlier that this team has the option of running Trick Room, and at minimal Speed, Metagross is a complete monster in it. The first thing that usually come to mind with the opponent is "Oh crap, it's a Metagross. Better reel off and Earthquake ASAP." Well, I could always switch into Salamence, which happens to be immune to it, or if they happen to have Garchomp active, I could have Metagross wait a turn via Protect while Cresselia phases Chomp's Speed and then go for a Helping Hand-boosted Iron Head and leave a gaping hole in it. Zen Headbutt, Helping Hand-assisted or not, KOs Hitmontop, Amoonguss, and Meinshao without worry. In Trick Room, it might be that Flinch that wins me the battle. Protect is self-explanitory in Doubles, as it allows for the user to Protect itself while the ally switches out, scouting for dangerous moves, and waiting for an ally to cripple or otherwise take out a threat. Priority has always been a big thing, VGC or not. Metagross fills in the need for a priority move, as it gives me the ability to finish off already-crippled pokemon that are faster than it. With the Occa Berry, Metagross is able to stave off Fire-type moves along with its max HP.With Earthquake, it allows me to deal with things like opposing Metagross, as well as giving me another spread move. I found in many situations that I was constantally going against another Metagross.<span style="font-weight: bold;"> With Pro., Iron Head, Zen Headbutt, and Bullet Punch, I never stood a chance due to the fact that the foe's Metagross usually had EQ. EQ helps with that.</span><br />

<span style="color: #FF0000;">High threat level</span><br />

<br />
While the Flare Blitz from this guy can OHKO, Infernape has its faults. All I need to do is switch into Chandelure or Salamence to render the regular set useless.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/637.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 637.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6374;">Volcarona</span><br />
<br />
With Volcarona, it's not as easy as a simple switch into Chandelure or Salamence, as I find it's oftentimes paired with Hitmontop or T-tar, both of which could take them down (Salamence might have a chance if Hitmontop is out, but Rock Slide from T-tar will be the end of it, not to mention it won't be able to dent it if Sandstorm is active). Swampert has a chance of getting taken down if Hitmontop isn't Paralized or has some sort of Speed hinderance (since Hitmontop can OHKO with Close Combat+Fighing Gem).<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><span style="color: #FF0000;">Chand</span><span style="color: #FF6347;">elure</span><br />
<br />
Scrafty can hold its own against this guy, but if it's taken down before it KOs Chandelure, I'm going to be <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsoxjylnQ68" target="_blank">in a pinch.</a> I could send up Chandelure, but I'd be slower or at Speed tie, which either situation is bad, as the opposing Chandelure could just Shadow Ball my Chandelure to KO it. Swampert could take it down without a sweat, depending on what Chandelure has as its ally. <br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/145.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 145.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Zap</span><span style="color: #FF6374;">dos</span><br />
<br />
Almost every Zapdos has one thing in common: Heat Wave. Handling Zapdos should be no problem, since Swampert can just wall the avarige set. If it sets up T-Wind, I'll be ready with Trick Room.<br />
<br />

<br />
The only real problem Garchomp poses here is its STAB Earthquakes. If its Speed isn't decreased in some way, Salamence won't be able to KO it. Another option I have is Swampert. Even with Yache Berry, I can atleast 2HKO the sand shark with Ice Beam (read further).<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Swampert?</span></span><br />
<br />
Despite only having two weaknessees, Metagross has quite a bit of threats. Lukly, Swampert covers most of them, as well as having Metagross being able to switch into the widely-used HP Grass and Giga Drain. In a way, the two work in sync with eachother. Zapdos, Chandelure, Garchomp, Heatran, Volcarona, and Infernape. The one thing they have in common? They're all threats of Metagross. Another thing they have in common? Swampert threatens all of those, Zapdos, Chandelure, and Heatran in peticular. However, Ludicolo, Breloom, and Abomasnow all give Swampert something to worry about. In Loom and Abomasnow's case, Metagross has almost no problems with. The only thing I have to worry about is Ludicolo. With Helping Hand-boosted Muddy Water, It's like using Surf under the effects Rain (without HH that is) while having the chance to lower the opponent's accuracy. At the same time, it doesn't hit Swampert's ally.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
If you don't have anything to counter Dragons on your team, it's pretty much gg in this metagame. If you have something that can atleast counter them, chances are, it counters a lot more. After being at a -1 Speed stage, Garchomp is outsped by Swampert. Since Garchomp's Speed fell due to Icy Wind (from Cresselia), its Sash would be broken and the Yache Berry would otherwise be gone, allowing Swampert to OHKO Garchmp with Ice Beam. Muddy Water can turn an already-inaccurate move into something that almost never hits. Lately, I've been seeing quite a few Excadrill/T-tar leads. After a few Icy Winds, Swampert will be able to OHKO-2HKO the two of them. Earth Power serves as Swampert's STAB move, as well as my answer for Metagross, Vlocarona, and Bisharp etc. (Do I <span style="font-style: italic;">really</span> need to explain the use of Protect again, seeing how it's on almost every pokemon on the team?) With the investment in SDefense, I can make the use of the Rindo Berry more effective, since anything with Grass Knot or Giga Drain loves the sight of the mud fish. It also allows it to survive a Life Orb-boosted Draco Meteor from Latios.<br />
<br />

Ludicolo outside of Rain is easy to handle, but if it's the topic of Rain, this team could be done for. They usually carry Grass Knot or Giga Drain, which are equally bad. It's not like I'm going to be able to set up Trick Room, since my TRer is weak to Water. I could have a chance to take Ludicolo if Light Screen is active and then attempt to take it down while I have reduced damage, but other than that, I'm not sure how to take it down. Salamence will be carrying Hidden Power Flying, but without the Yache Berry, Salamence doesn't stand much chance, since it will likely get hit with an Ice Beam, not to mention being outsped via Swift Swim.<br />

Not much to be said here. All I really have to do is send up Salamence or Chandelure to KO it (preferrably Salamence, since most people excpect to see it as a physical attacker).<br />

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Why Chandelure?</span></span><br />
<br />
Have you ever seen how lethal this guy is under Trick Room? I have, and needless to say, it was enough to covinse me to make it my Trick Room setup pokemon... or counter it. With the rise in use of Tailwind, Trick Room is the one thing that can save you from being outsped by the opponent. Also, if you notice, Metagross only resists Swampert's mortal enemy. It doesn't actually counter it. Chandelure both resists and counters it. Also, Chandelure is one of the first pokemon with a spread move (i.e. Heat Wave)(Swampert has one, too, however, it's just a little bit inaccurate. Heat Wave is, too, but not as much). Paired with Scrafty as a lead, the two can make an excelent combo. Besides, if I really wanted to abuse the Flash Fire Ability, all I'd need to do is send up Metagross is up and lure them into a Heat Wave etc. and then switch in at the last moment into Chandelure.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
The first thing one migh notice is the fact that I have a Modest Nature over the Quiet Nature. That's because Chandelure has to be versitile in <span style="font-style: italic;">and</span> out of Trick Room. With Trick Room active, Latios quivers in fear of Chandelure, as it will be OHKOd via Shadow Ball. Being one of the top threats in this metagame, this will come in handy. Right next to Priority moves, Spread moves are a must in VGC. Being the SAttack powerhouse, Heat Wave from this thing still pack a punch with or without the Life Orb/Fire Gem. Abomasnow, Amoonguss, and Metagross are a few example of big game threats where Heat Wave could (will) save me from he clutches of defeat. (even though I explained this two pokemon ago) Protect is a useful move that allows for easy scouting, worry-less switch-outs, and Protection from one thing as an ally takes care of a threat. With maximum HP, Chandelure is able to survive an opposing Chandelure's Shadow Ball, not to mention countless other threats (Crunch is still a problem, though, no matter what it's from).<del> Max HP and the Charti Berry grants me the ability to get through a Rock Slide without being OHKOd.</del> <span style="font-weight: bold;">With the Focus Sash, Chandelure hangs oh from the clutches or being KOd by other Chandelures, T-tars, and Politoeds etc.</span> <br />

Chandelure has the same problems as Metagross with the sand shark. However, the same problems means the same solution. The only difference? Chandelure won't be surviving its Earthquakes. <br />

<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/237.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 237.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6374;">Hitmontop</span><br />
<br />
Most Hitmontop sets carry Sucker Punch, which is the only real concern with Hitmontop in this case. Metagross won't be able to counter Top if it happens to be a Top/Moth lead, as Metagross will just get singed by Heat Wave. Salamence might stand a chance against it, but it won't OHKO Top.<br />

<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Why Scrafty?</span></span><br />
<br />
Have you ever thought to yourself "oh hey, it's just a Scfafty. What's the worst it could possibally do? All I need to do is use HP Flying (or some other Flying move) to OHKO it," and then come to find yourself swept by somehing with +2-3 Attack? Yeah. That's Scrafty in a nutshell (if given the chance, of course). If you look at a "top twenty most used pokemon in VGC 2012" list anywhere, most of the pokemon on the list happen to be weak to Scrafty's dual STAB combo. Besides, Scrafty enjoys having Chandelure as a lead partner-in-crime, especially with Trick Room active. Acrobatics+Flying Gem users enjoy abusing Scrafty to no end (as most of them get STAB with it anyways), but switching into Metagross makes their Flying Gem a complete waste. The majority of these combo users are physical attackers, so switching into Salamence wouldn't hurt, either, as they'd be phased by Intimidate. <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
I really have to hand it to Gamefreak for giving something with Moxie the ability to learn Drain Punch. With Drain Punch, I can easally heal off the damage that was inflicted upon Scrafty by something like HP Flying from a Zapdos. With a Helping Hand assist, I'm able to OHKO a ChopleTar running 252 HP EVs with Drain Punch. Under Trick Room, Scrafty makes a great counter against Latios with Crunch, as I can OHKO Latios 31.52% of the time (assuming that they aren't running any HP EVs), as well as 2HKO a Chandelure that runs 252 HP EVs with no Defense EVs (both of these calculations are on the assumption of +0 Attack). I'm sure there are some of you out there scratching your heads and wondering why I don't have Fake Out if I plan to (sometimes) use a Chandelure/Scrafty lead. Keyword: if. First of all, who said that if I plan to use Trick Room, I'm always going to use Scrafty, and second, why do I want to have a move that becomes dead weight after T1 over more Dragon coverage? I know Swampert counters Dragons with Ice Beam, but on a team, you always (atleast in my experience) want atleast two things that counter Dragons that aren't Dragon-types themselves. Like Swampert, I can use Icy Wind (from the lunar pokemon) to break Yache Berries (and in some cases Multiscale as well), and then go for the OHKO via Ice Punch. (I don't think I need to explain the use of Protect for a third time) <br />
<br />

<br />
While a STAB Acrobatics boosted with Flying Gem will OHKO Scrafty, all I need to do is switch into Metagross to rendnder that Flying Gem near-useless. If I don't have Metagross on the four I bring into battle, then Scrafty is in trouble.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/237.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 237.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6374;">Hitmontop</span><br />
<br />
Hitmontop is probabally one of the only reasons as to why I might not use Scrafty to begin with. Fighting Gem or not, it will still OHKO Scrafty with Close Combat (not to mention a more-than-likely chance of having the Intimidate Ability). However, this can be solved by switching into Cresselia (who resists it), or Chandelure (that's completely immune to Fighting). As for taking it down, Metagross can do a fine job at KOing pokemon's version of Beyblade.<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Salamence?</span></span><br />
<br />
Most teams in this metagame have some sort of revenge killer, either with Specs or Scarf. Another thing that most teams have is Intimidate. Salamence has both of those qualities. Usually, the mistake people make is switching from something like Metagross into a Dragon-type like Latios in order to counter Salamence just to find that what they switched into ends up with its Speed lowered (either by T-Wave or Icy Wind) and immediately KOd by Samamence. Metagross is easily able to switch into a Dragon-type attack for Salamence, and in turn, Salamence is able to resist <span style="font-style: italic;">and</span> counter Metagross' threats. Scrafty's Fighing intolerance? Yeah, Salamence covers that as well, not to mention Swampert's disagreement with Grass. Overall, Salamence supports this team like a boss.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
Many people wonder why I use Dragon Pulse over Draco Meteor. There's one simple reason: a significant SAtt drop. Though it comes in armed with the Specs, it's still very noticable. I can't tell you how fun it is to have the opponent switch out of Metagross and into Latios expecting me to go for the other pokemon (since only n00bs use Dragon-type moves on Steel-types unless that Steel-type is going to be KOd anyways), when in truth I had a Helping Hand-boosted Dragon Pulse up my sleve instead, ready for the switch. Heat Wave useful in many cases, like Vs an Abomasnow, which happens to be one of Salamence's threats. It is excellent against most of Swampert's threats, so long as none of them go by the name of Ludicolo. Speaking of that overacive dancer, Hidden Power Flying makes a decent counter against it (so long as Salamence isn't KOd by Ice Beam, although if that happens after it lands atleast one hit with it, my other party members should be able to handle it). Inaccurate yet powerful, Hydro Pump is my one solution to Rock-types (Salamence and Chandelure's favorite types [/sarcasm]), Fire-types (which beat down Metagross to no end) and Ground-types (which plague Metagross and Chandelure). <br />
<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Salamence's Threat List</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">High threat level</span><br />
<span style="color: #FF6347;">Something I might worry about</span><br />

<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/460.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 460.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Abomasnow</span><br />
<br />
If you havn't already noticed, all of the pokemon listed so far but Swampert make complete counters against Abomasnow. No worries here.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/639.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 639.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Terrakion</span><br />
<br />
Terrakion is going to make things a little bit more difficultt, but nonetheless, Swampert or Metagross will be sure to make sort work of it.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/381.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 381.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Latios</span><br />
<br />
Latios is only a threat if its Speed isn't lowered, otherwise, it becomes bait for Salamence. <br />

Cresselia@Lum Berry<br />
Nature:Bold (Subject to change to Calm) <br />
Ability: Levitate<br />
EVs: 252 SDefense, 252 HP, 4 Defense <br />
Moveset:<br />

Trick Room<br />
Helping Hand<br />
Light Screen (Subject to change to Reflect)<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Cresselia?</span></span><br />
<br />
If you havn't figured this out just by reading through the thread, Cresselia is basically the crown jewel of this team. There are so many lead possibilities with her, it ain't even funny. Scrafty/Cress, Metagross/Cress, and, (my personal favorite, of which probabally isn't considered a "normal" lead) Salamence/Cerss, all of which are very potent leads when considering the circumstances. Cresselia also stands as my other resort aside from Trick Room. If you say the words "Helping Hand," instantally, the words " (possible) OHKO" "greatly crippled, " and occasionally "good game" come to mind. With high bulk, Cresselia will be able to reel off Helping Hands to its allies until kingdom come.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
<del>She begins supporting her teammates with a friendly Thunder Wave, Paralyzing anything that's not immune to it (which in this metagame, the only common Ground-tyes used are Garchomp, Swampert, and the occasional Hippowdon and Gastrodon). This not only irritates the potential Paraflinch Togekiss, but allows for Scrafty and Salamence to land the finishing blow to things like Latios and Terrakion.</del> Since Cresselia has a broad spectrum of support moves, I can leave the opponent guesing as to weather of not it carries Icy Wind when they have a 4x-to-Ice Dragons active. This could come in handy, as if they don't suspect it coming, the Yache Berry will have been a waste, and the following attack will probabally be an Ice Beam/Punch, OHKOing the target. Light Screen is an almost-absolute must. It not only adds on to the sheer SDefense of Cresselia, but it makes it to where Swampert is able to switch into a Dragon Gem-boosted Draco Meteor and be able to survive (since Metagross isn't always going to be on the party of four in the team preview).<span style="font-weight: bold;"> By replacing T-Wave with Trick Room, I'm able to have another pokemon that's able to set up Trick Room, as well as being able to counter it.</span><br />

I have two things on this team that are able to completely scramble this guy, but if I don't select any of them in Team Preview, Cresselia's chances of survival become lower.<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Chandelure</span></span><br />
<br />
While I don't use it that often, I'm currently unsure what to put as a replacement, as it has to have decent SAttack and be able to learn Trick Room.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Scrafty</span></span><br />
<br />
I'm not replacing Ice Punch for Fake Out FYI.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Salamence</span></span><br />
<br />
You probabally noticed that I'm considering putting in Protect over Hydro Pump. I don't find myself using it very often (mainly due to accuracy issues), and besides, I can catch the opponent off gaurd , and they probabally won't figure out that it has the Specs until it's too late.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cresselia</span></span><br />
<br />
I've considered changing Light Screen to Reflect, but I'm still not too sure on the idea, as Light Screen helps a lot Vs a team like Rain.</div></div></div>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<div style="text-align: center;">[RECLUDED]<br />
By Red Striker<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">~Introduction~</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">~At A Glance~</span><br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><br />
<br />
This team was originally going to be built around Scizor, but after thinking it over, Metagross outclasses Scizor in most ways. So, I decided to build it around Metagross instead.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><br />
<br />
Chandelure, Zapdos, and Garchomp like to make Metagross' life hard. Swampert manages to counter them, while having Metagross resist the bane of Swampert's life (i.e. Grass).<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><br />
<br />
I wanted to leave this team with the option of running Trick Room. Since Metagross doesn't exactally counter any of Swampert's threats, that's where Chandelure comes in. Chandelure has threats of its own, however, the other two members mentioned so far are capable of handling them.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><br />
<br />
Scrafty makes a great lead alongside Chandelure if I happen to be attempting a Trick Room setup (or even when I'm not), as well as another counter towards Chandelure's threats, not to mention handling opposing Chandleures, Cresselias, and T-tars well.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/373.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 373.png]" /><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/376.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 376.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/260.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 260.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/560.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 560.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/373.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 373.png]" /><img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokemon/gen5/blackwhite/488.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 488.png]" /><br />
<br />
If you notice, the majority of the pokemon listed bafore Cresselia enjoy having this lunar pokemon's support (Metagross and Scrafty in peticular). Cresselia ops as my alternative if I feel that Trick Room is a bad idea.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">~A Closer Look~</span><br />

Bullet Punch<br />
Protect<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Metagross?</span></span><br />
<br />
  <br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Metagross' Threat List</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #FF0000;">High threat level</span><br />
<span style="color: #FF6347;">Something I might worry about</span><br />
<span style="color: #32CD32;">Not much of a threat at all</span><br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/392.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 392.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6347;">Infer</span><span style="color: #32CD32;">nape</span><br />
<br />
While the Flare Blitz from this guy can OHKO, Infernape has its faults. All I need to do is switch into Chandelure or Salamence to render the regular set useless.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/637.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 637.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6374;">Volcarona</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/609.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 609.png]" /><span style="color: #FF0000;">Chand</span><span style="color: #FF6347;">elure</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/145.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 145.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Zap</span><span style="color: #FF6374;">dos</span><br />
<br />
Almost every Zapdos has one thing in common: Heat Wave. Handling Zapdos should be no problem, since Swampert can just wall the avarige set. If it sets up T-Wind, I'll be ready with Trick Room.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/445.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 445.png]" /><span style="color: #32CD32;">Garc</span><span style="color: #FF6374;">homp</span><br />
<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Swampert?</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />

<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Why Chandelure?</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />

<br />

<br />

<br />
<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Why Scrafty?</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />

<br />
While a STAB Acrobatics boosted with Flying Gem will OHKO Scrafty, all I need to do is switch into Metagross to rendnder that Flying Gem near-useless. If I don't have Metagross on the four I bring into battle, then Scrafty is in trouble.<br />
<br />
<img src="http://media.pldh.net/pokecons/237.png" border="0" alt="[Image: 237.png]" /><span style="color: #FF6374;">Hitmontop</span><br />
<br />

The only problem Scrafty has with Terrakion is Close Combat. With the right prediction, I can Switch into Salamence and lower its Attack via Intimidate and in turn lower the damage further.<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Salamence?</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Why Cresselia?</span></span><br />
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Nature, Moveset, EVs etc.</span></span><br />
<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hi, PR...<br />
<br />
*sighs, wipes eyes* Well, I don't know how to go about this. But, I won't probably be on here. For a while. A long while.<br />
<br />
I'm sorry to say this, but my father... my father passed, just earlier today, in a car crash.<br />
<br />
Whether or not you believe me, whether or not you truly care or support or pray for my family, it doesn't matter. What's done is done, and all we can do is move on.<br />
<br />
Good bye, Pokerealm. I remember you fondly, and I hope that soon I'll be able to come back, able to be part of this family again. Able to hopefully make people laugh. You guys mean a lot to me. A long time ago, when I said this forum was a second family to me, I didn't lie. I guess I can say that I love you guys.<br />
<br />
Good bye.]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[It's March 25th, The Terrorist group known as the Facebook Fiends are making their agressive move on literate individuals using their powers of 'Friend wars' and 'I look so ugly [insert picture here]' to convert them to use primitive languages called 'text speak' and hacking techniques called 'FRAPE'.
